Dedicated to the memory of Gale Carlill
Gale had ovarian cancer for over 8 years and finally died on 20th March 2019 in The Princess Alice Hospice. The Princess Alice
Hospice is a charity relying on donations and fundraising activities. Gale
loved it there. They helped Gale and her family through the difficult last year
by visiting them at home, and giving them counselling. Gale wanted to be looked
after as a patient there when the time came at the end, and she was. Tim,
Gale’s husband, says that he cannot praise it highly enough. They gave Gale a
dignified and caring end to her life, and also supported all the family who
were with her.
